Sea-LNG, a global coalition led by energy and shipping companies backing the increased use of liquefied natural gas as a maritime fuel, has issued a report demonstrating the long-term competitive advantages of LNG for shipping in terms of financing.
Singapore, a major global supplier of marine gasoil and diesel oil fuel to shipping in Asia, said it was speeding up preparations to provide more LNG as well as cleaner traditional fuels to meet stricter emission regulations coming into force in 2020.
