One of the world’s leading annual energy conferences, CERAWeek, was scheduled to begin in Houston on March 6 and will continue through March 10 with thousands of industry executives and politicians attending to consider the current turbulent global market.

The US Department of the Interior has announced the largest federal offshore oil and gas lease sale in history with a range of incentives for companies and involving 76.9 million acres in the Gulf of Mexico offshore the main LNG export project development areas of Texas and Louisiana, as well as Mississippi, Alabama and Florida.
