Coaxis Energy Company of South Dakota has acquired the liquefied natural gas assets and interests of Kalm Energy, an LNG and compressed natural gas sales and service provider from Nebraska, as the fuel sector expands in North America.

Petronet LNG of India, operator of two import terminals on the West Coast, has signed an accord with Indraprastha Gas Ltd (IGL), one of the nation’s largest gas companies and owner of a network of over 400 gas fuel filling stations, to cooperate on LNG infrastructure and distribution projects.

Royal Dutch Shell through its subsidiary Shell India plans to start liquefied natural gas truck-loading at its Hazira LNG import terminal located north of Mumbai to widen clean fuel distribution in the domestic market.
