The conference was first held in 2012 and the 2019 event will be attended by more than 1,000 representatives of governments, international energy organizations and companies involved in the LNG industry. It will be held at the Convention Center of the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa at Minato-ku in Tokyo.
April 9 (LNGJ) – The Japanese government’s 8th LNG Producer-Consumer Conference will be held on September 26 in Tokyo, jointly hosted by the Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre. The conference was first held in 2012 and the 2018 event was attended by over 1,000 representatives of governments, international energy organizations and companies involved in the LNG industry.
“The conference will provide the participants including ministers, heads of international organizations, corporate executives and other stakeholders with a venue for sharing the latest trends in the global LNG market and discussing opportunities and challenges,” said the Ministry of the Economy, Trade and Industry. It will be held again this year at the Convention Center of the Grand Prince Hotel New Takanawa in Minato-ku, Tokyo.
The seventh LNG Producer-Consumer Conference held in the Japanese city of Nagoya heard Qatar outline the positive benefits for the global trade of the production expansion planned by Qatar and of a new wave of export ventures in North America and in nations such as Mozambique.
March 16 (LNGJ) - The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) said its seventh LNG Producer-Consumer Conference would be held on Monday, October 22, 2018 in Nagoya, jointly hosted with the Asia Pacific Energy Research Centre (APERC). The Japanese conference has become the most important non-commercial event on the LNG calendar and in recent years has attracted government ministers and senior energy industry executives to discuss market developments. The 2018 conference venue is the Hotel Nagoya Castle in Japan’s Aichi Prefecture. “The Conference held last October was attended by over 1,200 people from governments, international organizations and businesses involved in the LNG industry from over 30 countries,” said the ministry.
The Japanese Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will host its sixth annual LNG Producer-Consumer Conference on October 18 in Tokyo when spot and long-term contract pricing will be among the main topics of debate.
