S&P Global Commodity Insights, the energy pricing and reports unit of US-based ratings and analysis firm S&P Global Inc., has acquired UK-based technology firm Tradenet and its vessel-tracking platform Market Intelligence Network (MINT) for an undisclosed sum.

The France-based International Group of Liquefied Natural Gas Importers (GIIGNL) has issued its annual report with key export and import statistics showing surges in spot LNG deals and in deliveries on short-term contracts.
