Chinese LNG imports tumble in month by 29 percent but shipments from Russia rise along with pipeline gas
Chinese liquefied natural gas imports in August 2022 to its network of 22 regasification terminals tumbled by 29 percent because of a mixed economic recovery, high spot prices and more pipeline natural gas imports.

Gazprom boosts pipeline gas to China in competition to LNG and studies new route across Mongolia
Gazprom and China National Petroleum Corp. have held talks on the increasing deliveries of pipeline natural gas to Northern China from Russian in the Power of Siberia pipeline project in competition with LNG cargoes, with the Chinese asking and receiving higher daily volumes.
