KBR, the US engineering company with a strong energy and LNG presence, has been awarded a master service agreement and feasibility study by Japanese resources company JX Nippon Oil & Gas Exploration Corp.

KBR said its UK subsidiary was awarded a front-end engineering design contract by BP of the UK for the first phase of the Tortue natural gas field development located on the maritime border between Senegal and Mauritania that will provide feed-gas for at least two floating LNG export projects.

KBR, the US LNG and energy engineering company, was awarded an engineering and project management services contract for the biggest natural gas joint ventures currently under way in Algeria at In Salah and In Amenas.

KBR, the US engineering and construction company, is continuing with its success in winning more oil and gas and LNG contracts by being nominated for work on a key sour gas project in Abu Dhabi in the United Arab Emirates.
