Qatar Gas Transport Company, known as Nakilat, has signed a long-term agreement to charter and operate nine Q-Max class vessels as part of QatarEnergy's programme to expand its fleet of LNG carriers.

South Korea’s three main shipyards, the leading builders of LNG carriers, have received only half the orders they brought in a year ago because of the worldwide lockdowns as China moved ahead in terms of shipbuilding orders for a second straight month.
