Venture Global is working with countries all over the world to deliver critical cargoes. CEO Mike Sabel said the company is prepared to seal contracts for short-term delivery periods with potential LNG purchasers. Speaking at CERA Week in Houston, Texas, alongside Louisiana Governor Jeff Landry, the Venture Global CEO touted: “We have the most available LNG for years to come.”

United Energy LNG (UE LNG) is working on a scalable liquefaction platform to serve industry, power gen, and transport markets. Front-End Loading (FEL) Phase 1 is underway at a site in Houston, a second site is underway, and a third site in Kansas set to start FEL in a few days.

US LNG and energy engineering company KBR said it was awarded a design contract by Japanese oil and gas company Inpex for the Abadi LNG production venture onshore Indonesia using feed-gas from the Arafura Sea.

JGC Corp., the leading Japanese LNG engineering and construction company, said it had formed a US strategic partnership with a Texas-based, privately-held US company to offer joint engineering, procurement and construction services for projects.

TechnipFMC, one of the leading global energy and LNG project engineering companies, said it was taking a stake in UK company Magma Global Ltd to help further develop a new generation of hybrid flexible pipe for use in offshore contracts.

The US Department of Energy has authorized Flint Hills Resources, based in Wichita, Kansas, to export around 120,000 gallons per day of LNG over a 20-year period from an existing small-scale liquefaction facility in George West, Texas.

New Orleans-based Harvey Gulf International Marine has contracted Wärtsilä to supply a control system for shore-based LNG fuelling facility in Port Fourchon, Louisiana.
