US LNG exports data showed that in the latest month of shipments a total of 26 cargoes were delivered to 12 different nations, including six in Central America, the Caribbean and South America, four in Asia and one in the Middle East and one in Europe.

The US Department of Energy has published its latest monthly report on liquefied natural gas imports and exports, showing that 15 cargoes were exported from the Sabine Pass liquefaction plant in Louisiana, operated by Cheniere Energy, to six different nations.

Aug 26 (LNGJ) - The US Department of Energy issued an order granting American LNG Marketing a permit to export LNG over two years from its Hialeah facility near Medley in Florida to nations with and without a Free Trade Agreement with the US. The LNG would be loaded into ISO containers at the facility and transported by road or rail to ports in the state for export on ocean-going vessels. “The volumes proposed for export in this proceeding, when added to any volumes exported under American LNG’s long-term export authorizations, will not exceed 3.02 billion cubic feet on an annual basis,” the DoE said.

New Fortress Energy has delivered the first LNG shipment to JPS’s converted 120 MW Bogue power plant in Montego Bay. The ‘Golar Arctic’ carrier delivered the cargo from the small-scale Hialeah facility near Miami to the port of Kingston.
