Fluor Corp., the US LNG and energy engineering company recently lined up for the possible LNG Canada project, said its Netherlands-based subsidiary Stork was awarded a three-year contract by Royal Dutch Shell for work on its natural assets in the southern North Sea.

European classification society DNV GL has opened a liquefied natural gas test centre in Groningen in the Netherlands to enable safer and more efficient use of the fuel as demand grows from the shipping and transport sectors.
