US LNG points to UK

Dec 26 (LNGJ) - As the US LNG export plant build-out continues and the volumes of shipments grow, the UK Port of Milford Haven in Wales is scheduled to receive three shipments from the Gulf Coast in the next five days.

   The 155,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Gaslog Savannah” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on December 29 from the Cameron export facility on the shore of the Calcasieu Ship Channel in Louisiana to the UK South Hook terminal, according to port authorities.

   Then on December 31, the 138,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Iberica Knutsen” will unload a shipment from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana at the Welsh port’s Dragon regasification terminal. The third cargo also comes from Sabine Pass and will be delivered by the 174,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Flex Rainbow” on the last day of 2019 to the South Hook terminal.

GasLog Ltd, the Monaco-based LNG fleet owner and operator with 19 vessels and with another 15 ships held by its US affiliate GasLog Partners, reported that the forecast tightening of the LNG shipping market had come to pass with increasing US output and the seasonal uptick in demand for natural gas.

Nov 13 (LNGJ) - The 137,230 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG Rivers” is unloading a cargo on November 13 at the Huelva terminal in southwest Spain from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria, according to shipping data. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Umm Al Amad” will deliver a shipment on November 14 to the Pakistani Port Qasim import facilities, located east of Karachi, from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Gaslog Salem” will deliver a Qatargas cargo on November 18 to the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium. The 138,088 cubic metres capacity vessel “Berge Arzew” will unload a shipment on November 18 at the Aliaga facility in Turkey from the Sonatrach-operated plant in Algeria.

   The 155,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Gaslog Savannah” will deliver a cargo on November 20 to the Japanese Hachinohe terminal, owned by Nippon Oil, from the Woodside Petroleum export facilities at Dampier in Western Australia. The 160,400 cubic metres capacity carrier “Cubal” will deliver a shipment on November 28 to the Indian Dahej terminal, owned by Petronet, from the Angolan plant in southwest Africa. The 266,000 cubic metres capacity carrier Aamira will deliver a Qatargas cargo to the South Korean Incheon terminal on December 3.

Nov 8 (LNGJ) - The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “Gaslog Savannah” will arrive on November 12 at the Gorgon LNG export plant at Barrow Island in Western Australia, operated by Chevron, to lift a cargo for Asia. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “British Emerald”, operated by BP Shipping, is scheduled to deliver a shipment to Tokyo Bay on November 15 from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Cool Runner” was headed for the UK with a cargo from Nigeria, with delivery scheduled for November 15. The 165,000 cubic metres capacity “Marib Spirit” is scheduled to lift a cargo on November 17 from the Gladstone LNG plant in Queensland, Australia, for likely delivery to South Korea for Korea Gas Corp.

June 2 (LNGJ) - The 155,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Gaslog Savannah” has docked at the Peru LNG export plant at Pampa Melchorita to load a cargo for the Mexican import terminal at Manzanillo, according to shipping data. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Asia Endeavour” will unload an Australian cargo in Japan on June 10 for Tokyo Gas. The 145,000 cubic metres capacity “Ejnan” will deliver a cargo from Qatar on June 11 to the Taiwanese import terminal at Yung-An.
