Russian LNG cargoes

May 28 (LNGJ) - Two LNG carriers carrying Russian cargoes have entered the North Sea to discharge volumes at West European regasification terminals. The tanker “Nikolay Yevgenov” with 172,600 cubic metres of capacity lifted a cargo on May 23 from the Russian Yamal plant in Northern Siberia.

   The Cypriot-flagged vessel “Fedor Litke” with 177,000 cubic metres capacity was also heading for a regional terminal with a shipment loaded on May 24 at the Yamal facility, according to shipping data. A third carrier, the 172,000 cubic metres capacity “Yakov Gakkel”, was heading back to the Russian LNG export plant at Sabetta after delivering a cargo to the French import terminal in Dunkirk.

US-Russian cargoes

Oct 12 (LNGJ) - Belgium is due to receive cargoes from both the US and Russia in the next week. The carrier “Hellas Diana” with 174,100 cubic metres of capacity is scheduled to deliver a US cargo on October 15 to the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium, according to shipping data. The volumes were lifted on October 1 from the Freeport facility in Texas. The Cypriot-flagged vessel “Fedor Litke” with 177,000 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to discharge a Russian cargo on October 17 at the Zeebrugge terminal. The cargo was loaded on October 10 at the Sabetta export plant on Russia’s Yamal Peninsula in northern Siberia.

Cargo deliveries

March 23 (LNGJ) - In LNG shipping activity there were fewer ships near land on March 23 than is normal with impending deliveries at terminals in the Atlantic Basin and the Mediterranean. One of the few was the 142,650 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Niger River” with a cargo from the Nigerian plant at Bonny Island and scheduled to be discharged on March 29 at the French Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal on the Atlantic coast, according to shipping data.

   The 177,000 cubic metres Cypriot-flagged vessel “Fedor Litke” was heading through the English Channel on March 23 and awaiting orders after lifting a cargo on March 16 from the Sabetta loading terminal at the Yamal plant in Arctic Russia.

Sept 24 (LNG) - The 172,636 cubic metres capacity carrier “Fedor Litke” is scheduled to arrive on September 29 at the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium with a shipment from the Yamal plant in Russia, according to shipping data. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Um Al Amad” will unload a shipment on October 2 at the Thai terminal at Map ta Phut from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar. The 145,700 cubic metres capacity “LNG Benue” will unload a shipment on October 4 at the Pakistani import facilities at Port Qasim, east of Karachi, from Nigeria LNG at Bonny Island. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity vessel “Al Ghariya” will unload a Qatargas cargo on October 8 at the Incheon terminal in South Korea. The 165,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Marib Spirit” will deliver a Nigerian cargo on October 8 to the Mina al Ahmadi terminal in Kuwait. The “LNG River Niger” will unload a Nigerian cargo on October 8 at the Mexican Altamira import terminal on the Gulf of Mexico.

Sept 5 (LNGJ) – The 145,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Ejnan” was unloading a cargo on September 5 at the Adriatic LNG facility offshore northeast Italy from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar, according to shipping data. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Sheehaniya” will unload a Qatargas shipment on September 6 at the Swinoujscie terminal on the Baltic Coast of Poland. The 172,636 cubic metres capacity carrier “Fedor Litke” is scheduled to arrive on September 9 at the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium with a shipment from the Yamal plant in Russia. The 145,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Al Thakhira” will deliver a Qatargas cargo on September 10 to the Barcelona terminal in northeast Spain. The 137,230 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Sokoto” will unload a cargo on September 13 at the Portuguese Sines terminal from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria.
