The UK Isle of Grain LNG import terminal southeast of London, owned by National Grid plc, has launched an open season process for customers interested in buying capacity at its storage facilities.

LNG Ltd, the developer of two North American LNG export projects, said it had agreed to extend the financial closing date for an offtake agreement with Meridian LNG Holdings Corp., the owner of an import venture proposed for offshore Cumbria in northwest England.
