Enagás of Spain, the national gas grid operator with Europe’s largest LNG import terminal network and the biggest European recipient of US LNG cargoes, has launched a green hydrogen project on the Mediterranean island of Majorca backed by European Union funding.
Enagás, the Spanish natural gas grid operator and LNG terminal network owner, has signed an agreement with Italian utility Edison, to become a shareholder in a new small-scale onshore LNG terminal at the port of Ravenna on the northeast coast of Italy.
