Chiyoda Corp. of Japan, one of the world’s leading LNG engineering and construction companies, posted a 39.85 billion yen net loss ($355M) in the fiscal third-quarter because of woes in the subsea market and the “prolonged tumble in oil prices” delaying projects.
Nippon Yusen Kaisha (NYK Line), the Japanese LNG and tanker fleet owner, has completed its entry into the Emas Chiyoda Subsea company, giving Asia a world-class player in the market.
