March 25 (LNGJ) - The UK is scheduled to receive a US LNG cargo on March 27 as prices remain solid at the end of the winter season at around the equivalent of $8.720 per million British thermal units on the National Balancing Point market. Spot natural gas prices on the European Energy Exchange also rose. The Dutch TTF day-ahead spot price was at the equivalent of $8.740 per MMBtu.

   The cargo heading for the UK South Hook terminal in Milford Haven in Wales is onboard the vessel “Lech Kaczynski” with 174,000 cubic metres capacity. The shipment was loaded on March 13 at the Cameron export plant in Louisiana.

European natural gas prices and LNG values of the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) fell by more than 5 percent on the week while the Japan-Korea Marker for spot cargoes remained solid as other energy markets including crude oil dropped towards mid-2021 levels amid mixed economic and demand signals.

July 14 (LNGJ) - Most LNG cargoes were pointed at Asia, though several were heading for Europe. The 211,885 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Khuwair” is scheduled to deliver a shipment on July 22 to the Zeebrugge import terminal in Belgium from Ras Laffan in Qatar.

   The 137,500 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Rivers” was expected to discharge a cargo on July 25 at the Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal in Western France from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria. The shipments were due as the Dutch Title Transfer (TTF)) natural gas price, the benchmark for Continental Europe, was at a seasonally elevated equivalent of $12.25 per million British thermal units.

July 13 (LNGJ) - The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier, “Umm Slal”, is scheduled to deliver a cargo on July 19 to the UK South Hook terminal in Milford Haven from Ras Laffan in Qatar, according to port authorities. That’s as European LNG values have dropped since last week. The UK’s National Balancing Point natural gas price was last at the equivalent of $1.75 per million British thermal units while the main Continental European benchmark price, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility, was at the equivalent of $1.80 per MMBtu.

   In other European deliveries, the 142,600 cubic metres capacity “LNG River Niger” was scheduled to discharge a shipment on July 19 at the Montoir-de-Bretagne terminal in Western France from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria. The 140,000 cubic metres capacity “Arctic Voyager” was expected to unload a cargo on July 26 at the Revithoussa terminal in Greece from the Hammerfest plant in Norway. 

April 27 (LNGJ) - The first May shipments are heading for the UK from Qatar and Russia. The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Shagra” will discharge a cargo on May 1 at the South Hook terminal in Milford Haven from Ras Laffan, while the 172,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Vladimir Rusanov” is scheduled to arrive on May 3 at the Dragon import facility at Milford Haven from Yamal LNG at Sabetta in Arctic Russia.

   The cargoes were heading for the UK even amid more European natural gas price drops. The UK National Balancing Point natural gas price fell again from last week to a low of $1.60 per million British thermal units while Continental Europe’s Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) price was slightly higher than the NBP price at $1.85 per MMBtu, though also lower than last week.
