Royal Vopak, the Dutch global storage company, reported higher net profits and revenues for the third quarter amid progress on liquefied natural gas projects in the Netherlands and storage ventures in Singapore and the US.

Belgian shipping company Exmar said the closing date for the takeover of its LNG floating storage and regasification unit business by Dutch storage giant Vopak was still unclear as it posted a net loss.
