The International Gas Union, the world body that promotes natural gas and LNG use and technology for economic progress, has scheduled an election of a new President to serve from 2021 to 2024 and has three candidates to choose from representing Canada, China and Egypt.
The International Gas Union has appealed to India at a meeting in New Delhi, which recently suffered a pollution crisis, to use more available liquefied natural gas as a replacement for coal to help improve the nation's air quality.
