LNG Ltd, the developer of two North American LNG export projects, said it had agreed to extend the financial closing date for an offtake agreement with Meridian LNG Holdings Corp., the owner of an import venture proposed for offshore Cumbria in northwest England.

LNG Ltd, the Australian developer of two North American LNG export projects, has substantially reduced its net losses as it remained on stand-by to start building two fully-approved liquefaction plants amid preliminary agreements to ship cargoes to the UK and India.

BOC of the UK, a subsidiary of Germany’s Linde Group, is set to open its first LNG fueling unit for trucks on an existing fuel forecourt in Britain and with full public access.
