As the adoption of LNG as a ship fuel continues to speed up, European maritime classification society DNV GL plans to commercially launch in April 2020 a new online bunkering platform to take operators from the order process through to delivery.
Norway-based company Cryo Shipping said it was accelerating its development of liquefied natural gas as a marine fuel by offering more varied services, including LNG on a spot basis.
German marine engine maker MAN Diesel and Turbo, a supplier of propulsion for many of the world’s first LNG-powered vessels as well as conventional LNG carriers, has been rebranded under the new name MAN Energy Solutions.
