Sinolam LNG Terminal and Sinolam Smarter Energy LNG Power Co. have filed a $4 billion lawsuit in Virginia against AES Corporation and partners, accusing them of a scheme to dominate Panama's LNG-to-power market.

Panama’s $1.15 billion AES Colón venture, an integrated LNG import terminal and power plant, is due to start full commercial operation on September 1. Investors inaugurated the project this week.
