US LNG exports are increasing for the Northern Hemisphere winter season with eight shipments leaving the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana since October 26 as a record number of cargoes were shipped during the calendar month.

The US-listed partnership subsidiary of the Greek LNG carrier fleet owner Dynagas managed to successfully complete a $480-million loan transaction linked to its contracts for Ice-Class vessels chartered to Russian natural gas giant Gazprom.

Jan 4 (LNGJ) - The “Clean Ocean” has arrived at the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana, operated by Cheniere Energy, to lift a cargo, according to shipping data. The 155,900 cubic metres capacity vessel, chartered to Cheniere by Greek shipping line Dynagas, previously traversed the Panama Canal to deliver a US cargo to the Manzanillo import terminal on the Pacific Coast of Mexico. The 147,200 cubic metres capacity “Arctic Lady” will deliver a cargo on January 9 to the Barcelona import terminal in northeast Spain from the Norwegian plant at Hammerfest, operated by Statoil. The 147,000 cubic metres Japanese-flagged carrier “Energy Navigator” will unload a cargo at the Chita import terminal in Nagoya on January 9 from the Woodside-operated export plant at Dampier in Western Australia.

Nov 10 (LNG) - The 155,900 cubic metres capacity “Clean Ocean” has traversed the Panama Canal after lifting a cargo from the Sabine Pass export plant in Louisiana and was likely headed for an import terminal in Chile, according to shipping data. The “Clean Ocean” is owned by Greek shipping line Dynagas and chartered to Cheniere under a five-year contract ending in the second quarter of 2020.

The 155,900 cubic metres capacity “Clean Ocean” LNG carrier is in the Gulf of Mexico off the Sabine Pass liquefaction plant in Louisiana operated by Cheniere Energy, as the facility prepares to ramp-up production and exports after the recent scheduled shutdown for maintenance of the only baseload US export plant.
