Chinese LNG imports rise over 18 percent in 2021 to be World No. 1 with around 5MT lead over Japan
Chinese liquefied natural gas imports reached almost 79 million tonnes in 2021, increasing by more than 18 percent and overtaking Japan to become the World No. 1 importer of the fuel.

Chinese LNG imports rise and stay on track for record before Russian gas pipeline start-up
