Med LNG activity

June 7 (LNGJ) - The Med-class LNG carrier “Cheikh Bouamama” with capacity of 74,245 cubic metres was scheduled to deliver a cargo to the Spanish import terminal in Barcelona. The volumes were lifted on June 6 from the Skikda liquefaction plant on the Algerian Mediterranean coast.

   Another carrier, the “Adamastos” with 174,100 cubic metres of capacity, is planning to lie off Gibraltar to await orders, according to shipping data, concerning the cargo it lifted on May 28 from the Corpus Christi LNG plant in Texas.

US and Algeria LNG

May 15 (LNGJ) - The UK is scheduled to receive two LNG cargoes in the next two days. The “Kool Firn” vessel with 174,000 cubic metres of capacity is due to discharge a US shipment on May 16 at the South Hook terminal in Milford Haven from Sabine Pass in Louisiana.

   A second cargo is expected to arrive in the UK on May 17 at the Isle of Grain terminal on the Medway River in Kent on board the Algerian Med-class vessel “Cheikh Bouamama” with capacity of 74,245 cubic metres. The cargo was lifted on May 11 from Algeria’s Skikda export plant.

Sept 2 (LNGJ) - The Med-sized LNG carrier “Cheikh Bouamama” with capacity of 74,245 cubic metres was scheduled to deliver a cargo late on September 2 to the UK Isle of Grain import terminal on the Medway River estuary in Kent from the Skikda export plant in Algeria.

Cargoes for Spain and Egypt

June 28 (LNGJ) - The 75,000 cubic metres capacity Med-Max vessel “Cheikh Bouamama” is scheduled to unload a shipment on June 30 at the Barcelona import terminal in northeast Spain from the Skikda liquefaction plant in Algeria, according to shipping data. The 159,950 cubic metres capacity “Energy Atlantic” will deliver a cargo on June 30 to the Egyptian LNG terminal port of Ain Sokhna in the Gulf of Suez where two FSRUs are deployed. The cargo for Egypt was lifted on June 10 at the Bonny Island export plant in Nigeria. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Asian Vision” will unload a shipment on July 7 at the Chinese Dalian import facility, owned by PetroChina, from the Woodside Petroleum’s Dampier export terminal in Western Australia.

Oct 20 (LNGJ) - The 75,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Cheikh Bouamama” will deliver a cargo on October 21 to the Portuguese import terminal at Sines from the Skikda liquefaction plant in Algeria, according to shipping data. The 216,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Thumama” is scheduled to deliver a Qatari cargo on October 22 to the Indian import terminal at Hazira, operated by Shell India. The 266,000 Q-Max LNG carrier “Al Mafyar” is scheduled to deliver a Qatari cargo on October 27 to the Egyptian import terminal port of Ain Sokhna, where two floating facilities are deployed. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “British Emerald”, operated by BP Shipping, will deliver a cargo to the main terminal in Tokyo Bay in Japan on November 15 from the Bonny Island export plant in Nigeria.
