Tellurian Inc., the developer of the US Driftwood LNG export project in Louisiana and founded by ex-Cheniere Energy Chief Executive Charif Souki and Martin Houston former head of LNG at the UK BG Group, has completed a reverse takeover to gain a listing on the Nasdaq stock exchange.

French energy company Total has acquired a substantial stake in the LNG development firm, Tellurian Investments, set up by former Cheniere Energy Chief Executive Chafir Souki.

Tellurian Investments Inc., the development company of former Cheniere Chief Executive Charif Souki and his Driftwood LNG project, said General Electric’s oil and gas subsidiary had made a $25 million preferred equity investment in Tellurian.
