Spanish energy company Repsol has completed its largest LNG bunkering operation by refueling a Canadian ship at the Cartagena import terminal in southeast Spain with 11 truckloads of fuel.
Jan 6 (LNGJ) – The 140,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Arctic Voyager” is scheduled to arrive with a cargo on January 16 at the Canaport import terminal in the East Coast Canadian province of New Brunswick, owned by Spanish energy company Repsol and Irving Oil of Canada. The cargo was lifted on January 5 at the Hammerfest export plant in Northern Norway, operated by Statoil.
Spanish energy company Repsol has postponed plans to convert its Canaport liquefied natural gas import facility in the Canadian Atlantic coast province of New Brunswick into an export plant for various reasons, including the drop in energy prices.
