Woodside Petroleum, the Australian LNG plant operator, is considering whether to block Russian company Lukoil from becoming a partner in the $4.2 billion Sangomar project offshore Senegal after the Russians agreed to buy Cairn Energy’s Senegal assets.
Woodside, the Australian LNG plant operator and Kitimat LNG shareholder in Canada, said it received a decision from the International Court of Arbitration of the International Chamber of Commerce in the arbitration initiated by FAR Ltd against Woodside.
