China National Petroleum Corp. Chairman Dai Houliang and Gazprom's Chief Executive Alexey Miller have held a video conference as part of the Russian Eastern Economic Forum 2022 in Vladivostok and signed an agreement related to natural gas supplies as a plan to put a pipeline through Mongolia to China advanced.

Chinese natural gas imports, including LNG and pipeline natural gas, maintained rapid growth in September with imports amounting to 10.62 million tonnes, a year-on-year increase of 22.7 percent.
