Anti-trust investigations by the European Commission into LNG agreements between Qatar and European energy companies has led Qatar Petroleum to say it gave the “highest importance” to compliance around the world and would cooperate with Brussels.
National Grid, operator of the Isle of Grain liquefied natural gas import terminal on the River Medway in Kent, said in its annual report that it had loaded 3,950 road tankers with LNG for deliveries to off-grid customers in just over two years and also raised the issue of the post-Brexit situation.
The Polish Oil and Gas Company Group has signed a five-year contract for US LNG cargoes supplied by UK utility Centrica from its volumes booked from the Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana, owned by Cheniere Energy.
