Freedom LNG has filed an application with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), seeking 20-year authorisation to send up to 343 billion cubic feet per year (bcf/y) of U.S. natural gas by pipeline to Mexico and re-export up to 307 Bcf/y as LNG from its proposed Bravo LNG terminal in Mexico.
