QatarEnergy has offered five LNG unloading and regasification slots at Belgium’s Fluxys Zeebrugge terminal for April 2026. The five standard LNG slots were made available on Monday via the secondary market on the EMIX platform, Fluxys confirmed to Reuters.

Imports of Russian LNG into the EU have soared – regardless of sanctions – with most shipments headed to France, Spain and Belgium and a third of cargoes imported as spot trades. Analysts urge EU members states to prioritise on phasing out these flows.

Tankterminal, the Belgian fuel and logistical services company said it had opened its first LNG filling station for trucks in Belgium in the city of Lokeren and the crossroads for traffic to and from France and the Netherlands.
