Australian natural gas explorers are turning to prospects in areas such as the Bonaparte Basin offshore northwestern Australia to point more feed-gas at projects such as the Inpex-led Ichthys LNG plant and the existing Darwin liquefaction facility, operated by ConocoPhillips, in the Northern Territory.
