March 8 (LNGJ) - The 154,880 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier “BW Pavilion Vanda” was discharging a cargo on April 8 at the Isle of Grain terminal, operated by National Grid plc on the Medway River in Kent. The cargo was lifted on March 23 from the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas, according to shipping data.

LNG cargoes for EU

July 5 (LNGJ) – Russian and US cargoes are still pointing at Europe as the natural gas benchmark price, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF), is at record 2021 levels for the Northern Hemisphere summer season. The 177,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Boris Vilkitsky” is expected to deliver a cargo on July 8 to the Montoir-de-Bretagne import terminal on the Atlantic Coast of France from the Yamal plant in northern Siberia operated by Novatek, according to shipping data.

   Among other cargoes for Europe, the 154,880 cubic metres capacity vessel “BW Pavilion Vanda” is scheduled to deliver a US shipment on July 19 to Poland’s import terminal at the Baltic port of Swinoujście from the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas. The cargoes were heading for Europe as the Dutch TTF hit the equivalent of $12.45 per million British thermal units while the UK National Balancing Point natural gas price was around $12.30 per MMBtu.

US and Algeria LNG

May 11 (LNGJ) - The 154,880 cubic metres capacity carrier “BW Pavilion Vanda” was unloading a cargo at the UK Isle of Grain LNG terminal on the Medway-Thames estuary southeast of London on May 11 from the US Corpus Christi plant in Texas. The arrival coincided with a surge in UK natural gas prices to their highest level of 2021. Another vessel, the 171,800 cubic metres capacity “Ougarta”, was also scheduled to berth with a shipment from the Arzew plant in Algeria, according to the port authorities.

   The UK terminal, operated by National Grid plc, has Europe’s largest storage capacity of one million cubic metres. The two vessels arrived to discharge cargoes as the UK National Balancing Point benchmark price rose to the 2021 high, which was the equivalent of $9.05 per million British thermal units.

Pavilion Energy of Singapore and its shipping partner BW Group have signed an agreement for Pavilion to charter two more LNG carriers, each with capacity of 173,400 cubic metres and scheduled for delivery between 2019 and 2020.

April 10 (LNGJ) - The 161,880 cubic metres capacity carrier “BW Pavilion Vanda”, operated by Singapore-based BW Gas, is scheduled to deliver a cargo on April 13 to the Chinese Qingdao import terminal from Gladstone LNG in Queensland, eastern Australia, according to shipping data. The 172,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Beidou Star” will unload a shipment on April 13 at the Indian Dahej terminal from Gorgon LNG on Barrow Island in Western Australia. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Asia Endeavour” has arrived at the Wheatstone LNG export plant at Ashburton in Western Australia, operated by Chevron Corp., to lift a cargo for Asia. The 152,300 cubic metres capacity carrier “Seri Begawan” is due to arrive on April 13 at the Gladstone LNG export plant in Queensland, in eastern Australia to lift a cargo after previously delivering to Japan. The 153,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Barka” is scheduled to arrive on April 23 at the Gorgon export plant in Western Australia to load a shipment.
