Black & Veatch (B&V) will use Baker Hughes’ LM9000 gas turbine and compression technology as part of a standard module capable to produce up to 2 mtpa of LNG. The intention is to utilize PRICO technology to produce up to 2 mtpa of LNG per train.

The US Annova liquefied natural gas export project planned for the south bank of the Brownsville Ship Channel in Texas, and whose owners include Chicago-based power company Exelon Corp. is moving forward with its plans by signing up several contractors as investors.

Black and Veatch, the US energy engineering company, was awarded the contract for the Indian Swan LNG import project planned for Jafrabad in the northwest state of Gujarat.
