Commonwealth LNG, the US developer of an export plant in Cameron Parish in Louisiana and whose future customers include Australian liquefaction plants operator Woodside Energy, said it expected the US Department of Energy to approve a licence to export to Non-Free Trade Agreement countries in the weeks ahead.
Santos, the Australian liquefied natural gas shareholder in three Asia-Pacific plants, maintained solid second-quarter earnings levels as its average realised LNG price was US$8.27 per million British thermal units, less than a dollar lower than a year ago.
