Sanoat Energetika Guruhi (SEG), an independent oil and gas company in the former Soviet Republic of Uzbekistan with customers in Germany, Poland and the UK, reported an 8 percent increase in production in the first nine months of 2022 as it aspires to boost output while meeting all global oil field standards.
Saudi Arabian Oil Company (Aramco), the world’s largest seller of crude oil, reported an almost 40 percent rise in third-quarter net income to $42.4 billion as global crude oil prices were affected by “continued economic uncertainty” and it forecast that oil demand would continue to grow for the rest of the decade.
Sonatrach, the Algerian national energy company and LNG producer, said it signed an agreement worth US$490 million with Chinese major Sinopec in the form of a production sharing contract for the Zarzaitine block in the Illizi basin of eastern Algeria.
