Sept 11 (LNGJ) - LNG cargoes were pointing at China and India with mid-September deliveries as the Japan-Korea Marker for spot cargoes was strengthening ahead of the winter season relative to values earlier in 2020. The JKM price for October deliveries was last at $4.310 per million British thermal units and November was at $4.475 per MMBtu, while December was quoted at $5.075 per MMBtu. Oil-linked long-term LNG prices are still at around the $7.000 per MMBtu mark with oil at $40 a barrel.

   The 160,000 cubic metres capacity “Asia Vision” was scheduled to deliver a cargo on September 14 to the Dapeng terminal on Guangdong province’s Pearl River Delta from the Woodside-operated Dampier terminal in Western Australia, according to shipping data. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “GasLog Shanghai” was delivering a US cargo to the Dahej terminal in India in the coming week from the Corpus Christi plant in Texas. The 174,900 cubic metres capacity “LNG Abalambie” was scheduled to discharge a shipment on September 22 at the Chinese port of Tianjin from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria.

Sept 11 (LNGJ) - The 140,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Arctic Voyager” will deliver a cargo on September 12 to the Dutch gate terminal in Rotterdam from the Hammerfest plant in Norway, operated by Equinor. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity carrier “Al Ruwais” will unload a cargo on September 13 at the Hazira terminal near Mumbai, operated by Shell India, from Ras Laffan in Qatar. The 141,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG Adamawa” will unload a shipment on September 16 at the Portuguese Sines terminal from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Asia Vision” will unload a cargo on September 18 at the Incheon terminal in South Korea from the Wheatstone export plant in Western Australia operated by Chevron. The 141,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “LNG Cross River” will deliver a Nigerian cargo on September 19 to the Indian Dahej terminal, operated by Petronet. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “British Sapphire” will deliver a shipment on September 22 to the Singapore import terminal on Jurong Island from Atlantic LNG in Trinidad.

Oct 4 (LNGJ) - The 147,600 cubic metres capacity “Energy Frontier” will deliver a cargo on October 6 to the Japanese Hitachi import terminal, operated by Tokyo Gas, according to shipping data. The 145,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Pacific Enlighten” has left the Woodside Dampier export plant in Western Australia bound for the Japanese import terminal at Oita, operated by Kyushu Electric. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity “Asia Vision”, owned by Chevron and which recently unloaded a shipment in Taiwan, is scheduled to arrive at the Western Australian Gorgon export plant on Barrow Island on October 8 to lift a cargo.

Peru and Algeria LNG cargoes

July 1 (LNGJ) - The 138,100 cubic metres capacity carrier Gemmata, operated by Shell Shipping, has arrived at the Pampa Melchorita export plant in Peru to load a cargo for Mexico, according to shipping data. The 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Asia Vision”, operated by Chevron, has arrived at the Arzew plant in Algeria to load a cargo for a European port. The “Asia Vision” is best known in the industry as the lifter of the first cargo from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass liquefaction facility in Louisiana in February 2016 to kick off first US exports from the Gulf Coast.
