Sept 11 (LNGJ) - The “Arctic Voyager” with 140,000 cubic metres capacity is schedule to deliver a Norwegian cargo on September 14 to the German floating LNG terminal at the North Sea port of Wilhelmshaven, according to shipping data. The shipment was loaded on September 4 at the Hammerfest plant in Northern Norway.
The “LNG Endurance” with 170,500 cubic metres capacity is due to deliver a US cargo on September 21 to the Wilhelmshaven facility. The cargo was lifted on September 5 from the Cameron LNG export point on the coast of Louisiana.
The Norwegian Ministry of Petroleum and Energy has issued details of the 2022 oil and natural gas exploration and production licence round for allocations in predefined areas (APA) on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and with the application deadline set for Monday 12th of September 2022.
The first cargo to leave the Hammerfest liquefaction and export plant in northern Norway since the September 2020 fire is on its way to re-connecting the Norwegian seaborne gas supply chain for the European Union.
June 3 (LNGJ) - Norwegian LNG exporter Equinor said three LNG tankers, the “Arctic Voyager”, the “Arctic Lady” and the “Arctic Princess” are anchored off Melkøya Island in northern Norway ready to receive cargoes from the re-started Hammerfest LNG plant.
“Normally, it takes 4-5 days to fill the storage tanks at the plant, before the ships are loaded with LNG for shipping to receiving terminals in various markets. In full production, a ship will leave Melkøya approximately every five days,” said the company. Hammerfest LNG accounts for more than 5 percent of Norwegian gas exports and has production capacity of around 4.8 million tonnes per annum.
Dec 23 (LNGJ) – A cargo of LNG is heading for the UK port of Milford Haven from the US Atlantic Coast. The 140,100 cubic metres capacity vessel “Arctic Voyager” is scheduled to discharge a shipment on December 29 at the UK South Hook terminal from the Cove Point export plant in the US state of Maryland, according to the port authorities.
Equinor, the operator of the Hammerfest LNG export plant on Melkoya Island in Northern Norway, confirmed that the facility had suffered a serious fire on September 28 shortly after re-opening following a previous closure as a safety measure because of a gas leak.
April 11 (LNGJ) – The 140,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Arctic Voyager” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on April 14 to the Dutch Gate LNG import terminal in Rotterdam from the Hammerfest plant in Norway, operated by Statoil. The 215,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Al Utouriya” is scheduled to unload a shipment on April 22 at the Mugardos import terminal at the port of El Ferrol in northwest Spain.
Jan 6 (LNGJ) – The 140,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Arctic Voyager” is scheduled to arrive with a cargo on January 16 at the Canaport import terminal in the East Coast Canadian province of New Brunswick, owned by Spanish energy company Repsol and Irving Oil of Canada. The cargo was lifted on January 5 at the Hammerfest export plant in Northern Norway, operated by Statoil.
Dec 27 (LNGJ) - The 140,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Arctic Voyager” is scheduled to deliver a cargo to the Baltic state of Lithuania on December 30. The shipment from the Norwegian Hammerfest plant, operated by Statoil, will be unloaded at the floating import facility at the port of Klaipeda.
Nov 22 (LNGJ) - The 148,300 cubic metres capacity “LNG Imo” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on November 23 to the Montoir-de-Bretagne import terminal in Western France, operated by Elengy, from the Bonny Island plant in Nigeria, according to shipping data. The 177,000 cubic metres capacity “LNG Lagos” is expected to deliver a Nigerian shipment to Turkey on November 23. The 140,000 cubic metres capacity “Arctic Voyager” lifted a cargo on November 12 from the Hammerfest plant in Northern Norway and is scheduled to arrive at the US Cove Point terminal in Maryland on November 27.
