Dutch LNG deliveries

June 20 (LNGJ) - The Netherlands was receiving two LNG cargoes, one from Norway and one from the United States. The “BW Pavilion Aranthera” with 173,400 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to deliver a US LNG cargo on June 21 to the Dutch Eemshaven import terminal in Groningen, according to shipping data.

   The cargo was loaded on June 7 at the Freeport export facility in Texas. The “Arctic Discoverer” with 139,760 cubic metres capacity has berthed at the Gate terminal in Rotterdam with a shipment from Hammerfest in Norway lifted on June 14.

EU cargo deliveries

Oct 3 (LNGJ) - Belgium, the Netherlands and Germany are scheduled to receive assorted cargo deliveries this week. The vessel “LNG Benue” with 142,990 cubic metres capacity is scheduled to deliver a shipment from Nigeria on October 8 to the Belgian import terminal at Zeebrugge, according to shipping data.

   The “Traiano Knutsen” with 180,000 of capacity will discharge a US cargo on October 6 at the Dutch floating import facilities at Eemshaven in Groningen. The cargo was loaded on September 18 at the Corpus Christi export plant in Texas. The carrier “Arctic Discoverer” with 139,760 cubic metres capacity is due to unload a cargo from Norway on October 5 at the German North Sea port of Wilhelmshaven. The shipment was lifted on September 23 from the Hammerfest plant in Northern Norway.

Norway LNG for UK

Dec 14 (LNGJ) - The 139,760 cubic metres capacity carrier “Arctic Discoverer” berthed on December 14 at the UK Isle of Grain LNG import terminal, located southeast of London in the county of Kent and operated by a unit of National Grid plc. The shipment was lifted from the Equinor-operated export plant at Hammerfest in northern Norway.

Cargo from Spain

Feb 17 (LNGJ) - The laden LNG carrier,  the “Arctic Discoverer” with 137,760 cubic metres of capacity, is scheduled to arrive on February 18 at the UK Isle of Grain import terminal on the Medway River in Kent, according to the Thamesport Authority. The vessel had departed loaded from the Huelva terminal in southwest Spain on February 14 after arriving at the Spanish terminal from Rotterdam in the Netherlands.

Equinor, the operator of the Hammerfest LNG export plant on Melkoya Island in Northern Norway, confirmed that the facility had suffered a serious fire on September 28 shortly after re-opening following a previous closure as a safety measure because of a gas leak.

US LNG for Dutch June 7

May 22 (LNGJ) - The 140,000 cubic metres capacity LNG carrier “Arctic Discoverer”, operated by Japanese shipping firm K-Line, will deliver the first cargo of US LNG to the Netherlands on June 7, according to shipping data. The vessel lifted the cargo on May 21 and left the Cheniere Energy-owned Sabine Pass terminal in Louisiana to head across the Atlantic for the Rotterdam Gate import facility, owned by Gasunie and Royal Vopak. Previous European importers of US LNG from Sabine Pass include terminals in Italy, Portugal, Spain and Turkey.
