Aug 26 (LNGJ) - The US Department of Energy issued an order granting American LNG Marketing a permit to export LNG over two years from its Hialeah facility near Medley in Florida to nations with and without a Free Trade Agreement with the US. The LNG would be loaded into ISO containers at the facility and transported by road or rail to ports in the state for export on ocean-going vessels. “The volumes proposed for export in this proceeding, when added to any volumes exported under American LNG’s long-term export authorizations, will not exceed 3.02 billion cubic feet on an annual basis,” the DoE said.

The US Department of Energy published its export data for April that showed three more cargoes shipped from the Cheniere Energy export plant at Sabine Pass in Louisiana at prices up to $4.10 per million British thermal units for the basic gas  and $10 per MMBtu for container shipments from Florida.
