Africa Oil Corp., a Canadian energy company based in Vancouver and with producing and development assets in deep water Nigeria, has signed production-sharing contracts with LNG potential offshore Equatorial Guinea in West Africa.

US major Chevron Corp., a key operator of LNG export plants in Australia and Africa, reported third-quarter earnings of $6.1 billion, the highest in more than eight years and expressed optimism over natural gas markets and future LNG operations.
