Qatargas, the world’s largest LNG exporting company, said it signed a new sales agreement with Royal Dutch Shell to deliver up to 1.1 million tonnes to the European energy major for up to five years.
Qatar Petroleum, the main shareholder in the Gulf state’s two liquefied natural gas production companies Qatargas and RasGas, is holding meetings in Tokyo with its main Japanese customers and a reception to mark almost 20 years of LNG deliveries from Qatar.
