Qatar LNG for Europe

June 19 (LNGJ) – A steady number of laden LNG carriers are heading for Europe from Qatar. They include the 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Ruwais”, which lifted a cargo on May 19 from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar and would be arriving off Gibraltar on June 20 to await orders, according to shipping data.

   Another shipment departed from Ras Laffan on May 23 on the “Celsius Gandhinagar”, a vessel with 180,000 cubic metres capacity, and was scheduled to berth at the Belgian terminal in Zeebrugge on June 23.

EU LNG shipments

Feb 15 (LNGJ) - Belgium and the Netherlands are scheduled to receive a combined six LNG cargoes through February 24. The 172,600 cubic metres capacity vessel “Vladimir Vize” will discharge a cargo on February 17 at the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium from the Yamal plant in Arctic Russia lifted on February 11, according to shipping data. A second cargo will arrive at Zeebrugge from Qatar on February 19 on the 210,000 Q-Flex vessel “Al Ruwais”. A third cargo for Belgium will be unloaded on February 24 from the Qatari vessel “Al Deebel” with 143, 000 cubic metres of capacity.

   Three LNG shipments are also headed for the Dutch Gate terminal in Rotterdam. The “Grace Freesia” with 171,000 of capacity was berthing on February 15 with a US cargo from Sabine Pass in Louisiana. The “Vivit Arabia” with 171,000 cubic metres capacity will unload a US cargo on February 18 in Rotterdam from Calcasieu Pass in Louisiana. Then on February 24 the 180,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Adriano Knutsen” will discharge a shipment from Corpus Christi LNG in Texas lifted on February 11, the data showed.

Belgium-UK LNG

Oct 5 (LNGJ) – Two cargoes from Qatar are heading for Belgium and the UK. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Ruwais” is scheduled to berth later on October 5 at the Zeebrugge terminal in Belgium with a cargo lifted from the Ras Laffan export complex in the Arabian Gulf.

   The 159,890 cubic metres capacity vessel “Maran Gas Lindos” is scheduled to discharge a cargo from Qatar on October 7 at the UK South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The cargo was loaded on September 20 at Ras Laffan.

LNG cargoes for China

Jan 16 (LNGJ) - China is receiving ample January LNG shipments as about 20 carriers proceed to the network of import terminals with cargoes from nations such as Qatar, Nigeria, Australia and the US. Among the planned shipments, the 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Arctic Aurora” is scheduled to unload a cargo on January 18 at the Ningbo facility in Zhenjiang province from the Queensland Curtis plant in Australia, according to shipping data. The 174,100 cubic metres capacity “Cesi Gladstone” will unload a shipment on January 21 at the northeast port of Tianjin from the Australia-Pacific LNG plant in Queensland.

   The 148,300 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG Ondo” will deliver a cargo on January 24 to the Qidong terminal in Jiangsu province from the Nigeria LNG plant on Bonny Island. The 170,050 cubic metres capacity carrier “Hoegh Giant” is scheduled to arrive on January 25 at the Chinese port of Tianjin with a cargo from the US Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana. The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Al Dafna” will deliver a cargo on January 25 to PetroChina’s Tangshan terminal in northeast Hebei province from Ras Laffan in Qatar. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Ruwais” will deliver a Qatargas cargo on January 28 to the Tangshan facility. The 145,700 cubic metres capacity carrier “LNG Benue” is also scheduled to arrive at Tangshan with a Nigerian cargo on January 29.

LNG for Poland and Italy

Oct 18 (LNGJ) - The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex vessel “Al Ruwais” is unloading a cargo on October 18 at the Polish import terminal at Swinoujscie on the Baltic coast from Ras Laffan in Qatar, according to shipping data. The 151,700 cubic metres capacity carrier “Al Marrouna” is scheduled to deliver a Qatari cargo on October 20 to the Adriatic LNG facility offshore Rovigo in northeast Italy.

August Asian shipments

July 17 (LNGJ) - The 135,360 cubic metres capacity vessel “Al Wakrah” will deliver a cargo on August 1 to the Shikoku-Gas Takamatsu terminal in Japan from Qatargas in Ras Laffan, according to shipping data. The 210,100 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Ruwais” will deliver a shipment on August 2 to the Chinese terminal at Shenzen Diefu in Guangdong province, operated by China National Offshore Oil Corp., from Qatargas at Ras Laffan.
