Sept 16 (LNG) - Two Q-Max LNG cargoes are heading for the UK from Qatar next week and a Qatari shipment is also due in Belgium, according to shipping data. The 260,925 cubic metres capacity vessel “Umm Slal” is scheduled to discharge a cargo on September 21 at the UK South Hook import terminal at Milford Haven.
A second shipment is due on September 23 at South Hook onboard the 261,045 cubic metres capacity carrier “Al Mafyar”. Another LNG vessel, the 142,970 cubic metres Greek-flagged “Simaisma”, is scheduled to deliver a cargo from Ras Laffan to Zeebrugge in Belgium on September 25.
March 29 (LNGJ) - The UK is receiving a steady flow of shipments from Qatar with the 261,050 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Mafyar” scheduled to discharge a cargo on April 4 at the South Hook terminal at the Welsh port of Milford Haven, according to shipping data. The cargo was lifted on March 18 from the Ras Laffan plant in the Gulf.
April 19 (LNGJ) - The 174,000 cubic metres capacity carrier “Marvel Falcon” was discharging a cargo on April 19 at the UK Isle of Grain terminal on the Medway-Thames estuary near London from the US Cameron LNG export plant in Louisiana. A second cargo carried by the 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max carrier “Al Mafyar” was scheduled to arrive in the UK from Ras Laffan on April 24 with a shipment for the South Hook facility in the Welsh port of Milford Haven.
May 12 (LNGJ) - At least three LNG cargoes are being delivered to the UK in the next week. The 155,000 cubic metres capacity “British Sapphire” was unloading a shipment on May 12 at the UK Isle of Grain terminal in Kent from the Point Fortin plant in Trinidad. Two Qatargas cargoes were then due at the UK South Hook terminal in Milford Haven. The 216,200 cubic metres capacity Q-Flex carrier “Al Gharrafa” will unload on May 15 at South Hook and the 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Mafyar” was scheduled to berth on May 18.
The cargoes were heading for the UK as European natural gas prices were still at low levels. The UK National Balancing Point natural gas price fell again this week to $1.65 per million British thermal units while Continental Europe’s Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) price was higher than the NBP at $2.05 per MMBtu.
Asian spot prices for June were at around $2.05 per MMBtu while oil-linked contract prices were at $6 per MMBtu and above. Among the many shipments on the water, the 160,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Asia Vision” was scheduled to deliver a cargo on May 25 to the Map Ta Phut terminal in Thailand from Wheatstone LNG in Western Australia. The 174,000 cubic metres capacity “GasLog Gibraltar” was due to unload a US shipment at India’s Dahej terminal on May 28 from Cheniere Energy’s Sabine Pass plant in Louisiana.
July 4 (LNGJ) - The 266,000 Q-Max carrier “Al Mafyar” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on July 10 to the UK Milford Haven import terminal in Wales from the Ras Laffan plant in Qatar, according to shipping data. The delivery was fixed as the UK National Balancing Point benchmark natural gas price was at a summer season high of the equivalent of $5.00 per million British thermal units, while one of the main continental European prices, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF), was quoted at around $5.02 per MMBtu.
June 12 (LNGJ) - The vessel 138,100 cubic metres capacity carrier “Berge Arzew” is scheduled to deliver a shipment from Algeria on June 13 to the French Fos Cavaou import terminal near the Mediterranean port of Marseille, according to shipping data. The 140,000 cubic metres capacity vessel “Arctic Voyager” will deliver a cargo on June 14 to the Huelva import terminal in southwest Spain from the Bonny Island export plant in Nigeria. The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max ship “Al Mafyar” is scheduled to unload a Qatari cargo on July 5 at the UK South Hook terminal at Milford Haven.
March 22 (LNGJ) - The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Mafyar” is scheduled to deliver a cargo on March 27 to the UK South Hook terminal at Milford Haven in Wales from Ras Laffan in Qatar, port authorities said. The deliveries of LNG to Europe’s largest natural gas market come at a time when prices have fallen to their lowest levels of 2017. The UK National Balancing Point price was last at the equivalent of $5.05 per million British thermal units while one of the main continental European prices, the Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF), was quoted at around $5.10 per MMBtu.
Jan 3 (LNGJ) - The 266,000 Q-Max carrier “Al Mafyar” will deliver a shipment on January 6 from Qatargas in Ras Laffan to the UK South Hook import terminal in Milford Haven, Wales, port authorities said. The LNG is being imported as the benchmark UK National Balancing Point natural gas price was last at the equivalent of $6.40 per million British thermal units. The continental European Dutch Title Transfer Facility (TTF) natural gas daily future was trading at the equivalent of $5.38 per MMBtu.
Aug 22 (LNGJ) - The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Mafyar” is scheduled to deliver a cargo from Qatargas on August 25 to the UK South Hook import terminal in Milford Haven, Wales, the port authorities said. The UK benchmark National Balancing Point natural gas price was last at the equivalent of $3.95 per million British thermal units.
June 28 (LNG) - The 266,000 cubic metres capacity Q-Max vessel “Al Mafyar” is scheduled to deliver a cargo from Qatargas on July 6 to the UK South Hook import terminal in Milford Haven, Wales, the port authorities said. The UK benchmark National Balancing Point natural gas price was last at the equivalent of $4.60 per million British thermal units.
