GTT China deal
May 3 (LNGJ) - French maritime and onshore LNG technology company GTT has signed a licence agreement with the Chinese company PipeChina Innovation.
GTT said that the two companies were committed to jointly pursue commercial onshore LNG storage projects in China using the French firm’s membrane containment technology. Sang Guangshi, General Manager of PipeChina Innovation, and Adnan Ezzarhouni, General Manager of GTT China, signed the agreement at GTT’s headquarters.

April 7 (LNGJ) - French LNG storage technology company GTT and PipeChina Engineering Technology Innovation have signed a cooperation agreement for the evaluation of onshore tanks for more LNG import projects. The deal was signed during the visit of French President Emmanuel Macron to Beijing. The PipeChina Group currently operates seven LNG receiving terminals in China and is constructing three more import facilities.
“Following the successful deliveries of onshore tanks for the Huagang Gas peak-shaving project in Hejian as well as Phase I of the Beijing Gas Tianjin Nangang project, we are confident that our collaboration with PipeChina Innovation will enable us to continue providing our solutions to support PipeChina’s upcoming terminal projects,” said Adnan Ezzarhouni, General Manager of GTT China.
