Algeria’s crude oil, gas exports drop

Aug 21 - A major gas supplier to Europe, Algeria has been struggling with declining output at mature fields, lack of foreign investment and sluggish demand from its traditional offtakers. In 2014, natural gas exports dropped 17% to 27.44 Bcm, while crude oil and condensate volumes fell 16% to 28.355 million tonnes. LNG exports, in contrast, rose 18% to 17.8 Bcm, affording to Algeria's statistics office.
