Japan’s Mitsubishi and Imabari Shipbuilding join up to take on Koreans in LNG market

Mitsubishi Heavy Industries and Japanese shipyard Imabari Shipbuilding Co. have formed a joint venture to handle the design and marketing of eight LNG carriers per annum to prepare for what they see as a surge in the global fleet.
