An LNG delivery by BP’s Kmarin Emerald kickstarted the commissioning process of a new FSRU terminal in Brazil on Wednesday last week.
Turkey’s annual LNG demand is set to have grown steeply by almost 20% by the end of the year. Growth in volumetric terms was led by the Izmir terminal whilst imports at the country’s southernmost terminal – the MOL FSRU Challenger at Iskenderun – are set to have more than doubled by end-December.

Following the restart of Idku LNG, Egypt’s second LNG plant Damietta SEGAS is scheduled to follow suit in 1Q 2021, according to Italian energy champion Eni.
