With or without the IMO Net Zero Framework (NZF), LNG remains a viable transition pathway towards de-carbonisation and, with X-DF technology, ultra-low air pollution.* 

An EU guideline was recently published to outline procedures for verifying actual methane slip emissions from marine diesel engines, class society DNV has advised. 

As a result of LNG demand continuing to grow, new terminals have and are being planned.
